Summary
Our journey began with a dynamic kick-off meeting held in France, gathering all stakeholders including our team members. Tasked by our client, we embarked on the development of an MVP app for a sophisticated smart home system. The system's core functionalities included the management of water and electric heating, lighting controls, and integration with various smart devices. The objective was clear: to create an intuitive and efficient user experience while overcoming the challenges posed by hardware limitations and technological intricacies.
Goals
Develop an MVP app for a smart home system that balances visual appeal with functionality, ensures accessibility standards with a clear UX hierarchy, and simplifies adjusting heating and other smart devices.
Challanges
Challenges include hardware capability limitations, the complexity of the IoT solutions industry, and ensuring design consistency across iOS and Android platforms. Additionally, creating and maintaining a design system and dealing with development constraints using React Native Paper

This experience underscored the value of interdisciplinary teamwork in delivering successful outcomes.
